The New Centre for Research & Practice

THE NEW CENTRE SUMMER SYMPOSIA 2015
Online & In-Person

The New Centre for Research & Practice is pleased to present our First Annual Summer Symposia, occurring both online and in-person, in collaboration with other institutions in Austria, Australia, and the United States. Following the tripartite thematics of Knowledge Forms and Forming Knowledge (Graz), Alien Aesthetics (Melbourne), and a third TBA, the three symposia engage the common thread of the invention, procurement, and maintenance of research and practice, within an incipient aesthetic that is irreducible to the individual, the embodied, or the human. Exploring the transversal conditions of possibility for knowledge in our time, The New Centre’s Summer Symposia brings together emerging thinkers and artists concerned with the question of the new.
