Iyas Shahin
Public Lecture, online
3 December 2025
18:00
IZK Research Space, Kronesgasse 5/III, 8010 Graz
The lecture reflects critically on the idea of designing for the unknown — what it means and how we can approach it through our design tools and methods. Drawing on personal and local experiences, it explores how uncertainty can become a space for creativity, reflection, and adaptation in architectural practice and education.
Dr. Iyas Shahin is an architect, researcher, and educator. He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at Al-Rasheed Private University and an Assistant Professor at Damascus University.
