“What can we imagine for ourselves and the world?” With this question, put forward by scholar Mariame Kaba, the course will focus on praxes of transforming social-environmental relations and material conditions. In particular, during the semester we will encounter selected praxes reflecting the proposition that life in rehearsal is its making. The course will serve as a guide to becoming familiar with the work that imagining and rehearsing might entail. Over the duration of the semester, students will be encouraged to develop a study of your own in a format of your choosing.
